Recreational Classes

Unique Sports Academy provides positive sports programs for children of all ages and abilities. Along with our All-Star and Competitive programs, we provide a wide-range of fun recreational-level sports clinics and classes. The goal of each program is for children to feel good about themselves, learn new skills, and to make fitness fun! Our well-trained staff and small class sizes help children grow physically, cognitively, socially and emotionally in a supportive environment. The structure of our classes help develop coordination, strength, balance, flexibility, poise, and agility while also helping children gain confidence, self-esteem, and self-worth. Children learn to follow directions, set goals, focus, accomplish things, and make new friends in the process.

Important Parent Information:

The Unique Sports Academy Recreational Program is undergoing restructuring. This is partly due to the changing curriculum of USAG effective 2021. We will be implementing a new skill system and curriculum beginning with the Winter I session 2020. The new curriculum will make classes more effective and help students move through levels more efficiently. All students will be evaluated to properly place them in the appropriate class for the upcoming session.

The sessions will now be 8 weeks and the amount of skills the athletes are required to master will be minimized to allow the athlete to focus on and accomplish the skills required by the new USAG rules.

If you have any specific questions, please ask the front desk to speak with a Recreational Floor Manager or Director.

We are very excited about making this change and providing new class structures for our athletes. We are confident that your athlete will enjoy it and you, the parent/guardian will see growth
