During classes, your child will use every muscle group while learning skills and having fun. Class Summary You & Me (Ages 18 mth-3yrs) Co-Ed Parents are included in all activities. Great for bonding with your child. Designed to develop gross motor function, spatial awareness and hand/eye coordination. Class length: 45 minutes Tots (Ages 3-4) Co-Ed While this class has the same age range and objectives as mentioned above, it allows for more exploration by the child without the parental supervision. Recommended for the child ready to leave the parent completely for the entire class (2 yr olds must graduate from You & Me class). Class length: 45 minutes Kinder Kid I & II (Ages 4-6) Co-Ed Beginner Kinder Kid is designed to bridge the gap from an age-specific to a skill-specific class structure by incorporating both instructional systems into one class. This class introduces basic terms and skills on beam, bars, vault, and floor. Once a child completes Kinder Kid I, he or she can move up to Kinder Kid II to improve their basics and increase their skill level. Class length: 55 minutes Physical Education for Home-Schooled Students (all ages) Co-Ed Our unique physical education program is presented exclusively to the home schooled. This class incorporates gymnastics, basic exercise and stretching skills into a fun filled program that can be used for your child’s state required education credit. Class length: 55 minutes Beginner Girls/Beginner Boys (Ages 6-8, 9+) The Beginner class level is for the school aged child. This level is oriented toward developing strength and flexibility as well as skill progressions. Development of motor skills, both fine and gross, is also stressed along with vocabulary of gymnastics terms and meanings. Class length: 55 minutes Advanced Beginner Girls/ Advanced Beginner Boys (Ages 6-8 & 9+) The Advanced Beginner class is geared toward those with previous gymnastics experience. Gymnasts will continue to work on increasing strength and flexibility, as well as the next level of skill progression. Specific skill requirements are needed to be in this level. Class length: 55 minutes Requires placement by Program Director Intermediate Girls (Ages 6 and up) The Intermediate class offers gymnasts at this level to begin to string together skill sequences and more advanced aerial elements. More strength and flexibility are required at this level. Class length: 55 minutes Requires placement by Program Director. Advanced Girls (Ages 6and up) The Advanced class offers gymnasts a variety of advanced skills on all apparatus, including more advanced aerial elements on floor, kips and advanced dismounts on bars, cartwheel & back walkovers on beam, and vaulting over the table. Due to the increase expectation of skill requirements for this level, the class time is lengthened. More strength and flexibility are required at this level. Class length: 85 minutes Requires placement by Class Director Beginner Tumble & Trampoline (Ages 6-12, 13+) Co-Ed Classes are open for those who want to focus on the very basics of tumbling and trampoline skills including handstands, rolls, and cartwheels along with flexibility and strength. Class length: 55 minutes Intermediate Tumble & Trampoline Co-Ed Classes are open to those who have a basic knowledge/skill set for tumbling and trampoline and wish to improve their overall level of skill for fitness and cheerleading. Introduction and continued work on aerial skills are a large focus of this class. Class length: 55 minutes Requires placement by Class Director Advanced Tumble & Trampoline Co-Ed Classes are open to those who have developed an above average talent for tumbling and trampoline. Athletes are working on the most advanced skills. The main focus in this class is on connecting basic and complex elements for routing construction, along with higher level salto skills. Class length: 55 minutes Requires placement by Class Director Unique Kids (all ages) Co-Ed We provide children with special needs an opportunity to actively engage in structured physical activity. Designed for children with a range of physical and intellectual special needs, including autism, cerebral palsy, and Downs Syndrome.
