Hosted Competitions

Unique Sports Academy, in conjunction with Universal Sports and Academics Inc., hosts several competitions and events through-out the year to showcase the talent of youth in Southern Maryland. We invite everyone to come and support our future community leaders. Our current schedule is:

Olympia Gymnastics Camp

We are happy to announce we will be hosting Svetlana Boguinskaia's Olympia Gymnastics Camp.

The camp dates are: June 26 - 30, 2010 (Wed - Sat)

The Olympia Gymnastics Camp (OGC), featuring three-time Olympic Gymnast Svetlana Boguinskaia (1988, 1992 and 1996), visited Waldorf in July. Local gymnasts had the opportunity to learn from some of the best gymnasts and instructors in the world.

Boguinskaia lead the sessions along with a select group of top-notch instructors. The camp featured five-time Olympian Oksana Chusovitina and 1996 Olympic Gold Medalist Kerri Strug. The camp was also visited by former Olympic Gymnasts Vladimir and Luda Shamenko. Chusovitina was also training for the 2009 World Championships that will be held in London this October.
